Voate DriuDAWAIPassed away suddenly but peacefully on 9th April 2020, loving husband of Dorothy, devoted dad of Merewai and Andrew. Doting granddad of Jemma and Lee and great granddad to baby Jack. Driu's funeral took place on 20th April. Grateful thanks to staff and district nurses at Stonefield St. Surgery, thanks to Sova and family in Fiji who kindly held a traditional celebration there, when Driu was being buried in Rochdale. Dorothy and family would like to thank management and all the carers at Sunshine Care. They loved Driu and Driu loved them. Thank you to all the staff at Newhey Manor. To all his old friends at line dancing for their friendship from long ago. Thanks to friends and volunteers at the Wellbeing Cafe at Butterworth Hall. Thank you to Tony Pratt from the ex Players Association, to our close friends and neighbours for their respect and kindness, and for all the condolences and lovely cards. A big thank you to Margaret and staff at Leach and Clegg Funeral Directors, and thanks to Rev. Helen Johnson.
